No Trick All Treat Rice Krispie Mummies

Halloween is just around the corner, so we have baked up some yummy treats with some fun, creative uses for our parchment paper. These Rice Krispie Treat Mummies are super easy to make and allow for a cool use for parchment paper piping!

Ingredients you will need:

  • 10 oz bag of small marshmallows
  • 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal
  • 3 tbsp of butter
  • Large pot (we used 6qt All-in-One pan)
  • 9x13 pan
  • Black gel icing for eyes
  • Vanilla icing
  • Zenlogy 9x13 parchment paper

Start by pouring the 10 oz bag of marshmallows and your 3 tbsp of butter into a large pan and mix on low-medium heat until they are melted.

Once your marshmallows are mostly melted, slowly mix in your 6 cups of Rice Krispies. Be sure to keep mixing so that the marshmallows do not burn to the bottom of the pan.

When you have everything mixed in, pour your Rice Krispie mixture into a 9x13 pan lined with Zenlogy 9x13 sheets to prevent sticking and let cool for 30 min.

While you are waiting for your treats to cool you can make your parchment paper piping bag out of Zenlogy 12x16 parchment paper.

All you need is a sheet of parchment paper, a pair of scissors and a piece of tape!

Taping parchment paper is very difficult, but wrapping the tape around the tip and attaching it to itself helps to keep the piping bag together.

Once your treats have cooled it is time to cut them into squares then put eyes on your guys, fill your piping bag with your vanilla icing, and start wrapping your mummies!

And BOOm! You're done! These make such sweet treats for a Halloween party or just as a fun dessert during the Halloween season!
